Check out what our guests have to say…
Fantastic “log cabin” style castle. The unit is actually part of the main lodge and is attached at one end (you do not have access to the main building and conference-type facilities). You are high above a beach and have wonderful vistas up and down the coast. Sunrise is amazing. The short drive or moderate walk down (and up!) the cliff to a wild sandy beach is worth it for beachcombing or a swim. The gas heater was very effective (in June!) so we could leave the window open to hear the waves (but turned it off to sleep). There are tame rabbits running freely as well as enclosed chickens. As the place is off grid there is a large power generator behind the house that intermittently comes on at night for short periods but apart from that the place is very peaceful. Jaye is a great host and can tell interesting stories about the wood lodge and its amazing design.
Beautifully positioned accommodation with lovely hospitable hosts. A peaceful spot with breath taking view and exceptional amenities. Very refreshing stay, wish we had longer…. a place we look forward to returning to.
